A fitness tracker doesn’t have to cost as much as a smartwatch to help you stay on top of your daily activity, sleep and exercise. The Google Fitbit Inspire 3 is a good option for anyone who wants those insights in a lightweight wearable without paying for features they might never use.
Right now, Amazon has the Fitbit Inspire 3 for $69.95, down from $99.95. That’s a $30 savings, or 30% off. The purchase also comes with an offer for 90 days of Amazon Music, giving you another perk to go along with the tracker.
The Inspire 3 is designed to be worn throughout the day, so you can track your activity, check your heart rate and see how well you’re sleeping without constantly reaching for your phone. It’s a practical choice for anyone trying to build a more consistent exercise routine or get a better understanding of their daily habits. If you want more advanced features, the Fitbit Charge 6 is also on sale.
What Can the Fitbit Inspire 3 Track?
The Inspire 3 covers the basics that many people want from a fitness tracker, along with features for monitoring sleep and stress.
Here’s what stands out.
- All-day activity and heart rate tracking: Monitor your movement and heart rate throughout the day, with Active Zone Minutes helping you see how much time you spend exercising at different intensity levels.
- 40+ exercise modes: Track activities ranging from walking and running to cycling, yoga and strength training. Automatic exercise recognition can also help record certain workouts when you forget to start tracking.
- Sleep tracking and Sleep Score: See information about your nightly rest and use your Sleep Score to follow patterns over time. A vibrating Smart Wake alarm can help wake you during a lighter stage of sleep.
- Stress management tools: Check your daily Stress Management Score and use guided breathing sessions when you need a moment to slow down.
- Additional wellness tracking: The Inspire 3 supports features including blood oxygen (SpO2) tracking, resting heart rate and menstrual health tracking. Irregular heart rhythm notifications are also available where supported.
- Up to 10 days of battery life: Fitbit rates the tracker for up to 10 days on a charge, although actual battery life depends on settings and use.
- A lightweight design: The slim band is comfortable to wear during workouts, at work and overnight, making it easier to keep tracking consistently.
The Inspire 3 uses your smartphone’s GPS for connected workout tracking, so you’ll need your phone with you to record routes and distances using GPS. Also note, some insights and guided content may require a Google Health Premium membership. Check the current feature and subscription requirements before buying.
Along with the price cut, the Inspire 3 purchase includes an offer for 90 days of Amazon Music. If you like listening to music during workouts, walks or your commute, that add even more value to the $30 discount from the list price. Terms and conditions may apply.
Want More Features? Save on the Fitbit Charge 6
If you’d rather spend a little more for a tracker with additional features, Amazon also has the Google Fitbit Charge 6 for $129.45, down from $159.95. That’s a savings of $30.50, or about 19%.
The Fitbit Charge 6 includes built-in GPS, so you can record the pace and distance of outdoor workouts without carrying your phone. It also adds Google Maps directions, Google Wallet support and more advanced workout tools.
If you’re not 100% sure on which model you want, the choice comes down to what you need. The Inspire 3 is the less expensive option for everyday activity, heart rate and sleep tracking. The Charge 6 costs about $59.50 more but offers extra features for people who exercise regularly and want to leave their phones behind during workouts.
For anyone looking for an affordable way to keep tabs on daily movement and sleep, the Fitbit Inspire 3 at $69.95 is worth considering while the discount lasts.
