Harrison Ford has been announced as an honoree at this year’s Paley Honors Fall Gala. The acclaimed actor will receive the Paley Honors Award, the organization’s highest distinction, recognizing landmark contributions and enduring impact to the media industry.
Ford joins previously announced honorees Greg Berlanti, Goldie Hawn, and Melissa McCarthy who will be celebrated at the gala on Dec. 3 at The Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills.
“Harrison Ford’s landmark performances have brought some of entertainment’s most memorable characters to life and established him as a global icon whether playing action heroes or the everyman. His recent Emmy Award–nominated turn as Dr. Paul Rhoades on Shrinking further solidifies his legacy as one of world’s most beloved actors,” says Maureen J. Reidy, president and CEO of The Paley Center for Media.
In addition to his two Emmy nominations for Shrinking, Ford received an Oscar nomination for Witness. Among his many accolades are the AFI Life Achievement Award, the Golden Globes’ Cecil B. DeMille Award, and the SAG-AFTRA Life Achievement Award.

Hawn rose to fame on the hit 1960s sketch comedy Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In before shifting to film. She won an Oscar and Golden Globe for her supporting turn in 1969’s Cactus Flower and was nominated again for her leading role in the 1980 hit Private Benjamin. Other notable credits include Butterflies Are Free (1972), The Sugarland Express (1974), Shampoo (1975), Foul Play (1978), Overboard (1987), Death Becomes Her, and The First Wives Club (1996).
Berlanti’s career spans three decades of network and streaming television. He began his career writing on Dawson’s Creek before creating and executive producing dramas such as Everwood and Brothers & Sisters. His extensive portfolio includes the DC superhero franchise on The CW (Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl), Riverdale, All American, Blindspot, You, The Flight Attendant, Found, and Brilliant Minds. Across these projects, his work has consistently featured diverse and LGBTQ+ representation.

Beyond honoring individual achievements, the annual fall gala acts as a major fundraiser supporting the Paley Center’s ongoing educational initiatives and the preservation of its extensive media archive.
Additional honorees for the December event will be revealed in the coming weeks.
