Temperatures may be falling, but the drama on Days of our Lives is just heating up.
In Us’ exclusive premiere of the soap opera’s fall sizzle released on Monday, November 2, Dominic Marino (Kyle Pryor) takes center stage as he brings the drama to Salem.
“EJ DiMera, we meet at last,” he says in the teaser. “I’m Dominic Marino. Hello, brother.”
In another scene, Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) seems just a little bit worried when he asks, “What is he doing in Salem? What does he want from our family?”
For better or worse, he may be up to no good. And yes, the police may be involved.
When Theo Carver (Tyler Andrews) has the opportunity to sit with Dominic, he asks, “What did my grandfather send you here to do?”
Dominic replies, “You’re asking the wrong question. The correct question is, ‘What do I intend to do?’”
Perhaps the people who should be most concerned with what happens next are Xander and Sarah Horton-Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey).
In a tense scene, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) warns the pair, “Chicago P.D. is headed to Salem tomorrow to arrest you for first-degree murder.”
As fans know, no amount of danger — or threats — can break this bond.
“I feel safer with you,” Sarah says. “I’m not going anywhere.”
Xander adds, “These people can track me down.”

Season 62 of Days of our Lives continues to bring shock and surprises to loyal soap opera fans. Streaming daily on Peacock, the series, which has already been renewed for season 63, follows the intertwined lives, love stories and suspenseful adventures of the town’s residents, including characters from the Horton, Brady, Kiriakis, Hernandez and DiMera families.
“All great houses fall from within,” the show’s new trailer teases. “Bloodlines blur, loyalty is tested and home is where the heart breaks. In Salem, no house stands for long.”
Elsewhere in the trailer, Chad DiMera (Conner Floyd) tries to persuade Belle Black (Martha Madison) that he is truly over Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord). Spoiler: Belle has her hesitations.
Meanwhile, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) has quite the proposition for Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) when he asks, “Would you like to move back in?”

And if those weren’t enough surprises, Orpheus (George DelHoyo) appears to be back with his own confessions.
“I’ve been expecting you,” he teases. “The truth is beyond your wildest dreams.”
