Kyle MacLachlan couldn’t help but wonder…what Trey MacDougal is doing today.
After the Sex and the City alum did not reprise his character as Charlotte York’s ex-husband in the sequel series And Just Like That, he shared whether or not he’d say alrighty to stepping into Trey’s shoes if a potential future installment were to happen once more.
“Oh, would I ever! Absolutely,” MacLachlan exclusively told E! News at Heidi Klum‘s 25th Annual Halloween Party at Cathédrale in New York City Oct. 31. “Come on, Trey has to come back.”
“He’s got unfinished business,” he continued. “Of course, that would be fun.”
MacLachlan—who was joined by his son Callum, 18, at the star-studded spooky soiree—playfully noted that he was ready to “start some vicious rumors” of Trey’s return in a new spinoff series.
“It’s going to happen, very, very soon,” he joked at the event, which was presented by Apothic and Butterfinger. “I know this is going to get picked up and going to be the logline and that’s how it’s going to work.”
