Emma Stone returned to the Saturday Night Live stage this weekend!
The 38-year-old actress, who hosted the show five times, joined this week’s host Druski during his opening monologue on Saturday night (November 7).
If you didn’t know, they are set to co-star in the upcoming movie, The Catch.
“I am living proof you can bet on yourself and make your dreams come true,” Druski said in his monologue. “I just finished filming my first-ever movie with Emma Stone and she is right now.”

After she walked on stage, Druski said, “I’m actually playing her love interest in the new movie that we just did.”
“I think you might have misread that in those scenes, because we weren’t love interests in the film,” Emma replied. “But now it is starting to make more sense why you kept looking at me like that for all those scenes.”
“That’s probably why we ain’t kiss either,” he said, to which she said, “Yeah.”
“If there’s a part two, we’ll get it done,” Druski added.
He also said he loved her in Bugonia, and when she said, “Really?” he joked, “No, I just wanted to be the first Black guy to say it.”
What is The Catch about?
Emma and Druski‘s upcoming movie is actually being directed by her husband, Dave McCary. Plot details are currently being kept under wraps, but it is said to be a baseball rom-com in the vein of Bull Durham and Notting Hill, according to Deadline, and Emma plays “the most hated woman in baseball.”
They also say Druski will play Emma‘s security guard in the film.
Chris Pine also stars, along with Saturday Night Live‘s Ashley Padilla as Emma‘s sister. Back in August, Druski was seen on set with Chris. See the pics!
