Matthew Wright died in his sleep
The GoFundMe set up to help his loved ones stated that he “died suddenly but peacefully in his sleep” on Friday, October 30th in Los Angeles.
He was in the area “working remotely.”
“The sun may have prematurely set for our magical Matty, but his memory lives on in all of the sky’s vibrant colors. He would want everyone to remember his most important rule of living —don’t forget to course it out,” the GoFundMe added.
“If Matt has ever made you laugh, said an encouraging word right when you needed it, or ordered one too many appetizers for the enjoyment of the whole table, now is the time to repay the favor. Please donate what you can and share this with anyone who’s been in the orbit of Matt’s huge heart. And when you’re at dinner and see a sunset, know that Matt is looking down, loving you, but wildly disappointed in what you ordered,” they wrote.
Ellen DeGeneres paid tribute to him after the news of his passing.
Our thoughts are with Matthew‘s loved ones at this incredibly difficult time.
