Jenny McCarthy Is Living In A TENT After Two-Year Mold Poisoning Nightmare – And It All Started With WHAT?!

Jenny McCarthy has been through an absolutely terrifying health ordeal. And things have gotten so bad that she’s now living in a TENT! Yes, an actual tent!

On Wednesday’s episode of The Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg Show, the 53-year-old opened up about a two-year medical nightmare she believes was caused by mold exposure. And according to her, it all began in October 2024 with something seemingly ordinary: a toothache!

She explained:

“Somehow that led me down a rabbit hole of doctors, surgeries, teeth being pulled, mysterious growths popping up in places you are not expecting, implants literally falling out, and eventually realizing my immune system was fighting something so much bigger. At one point, you know, I was just so desperate to heal that I literally was living in a tent. That’s right, living in a tent!”

The Masked Singer judge said painkillers couldn’t relieve her tooth pain, and she visited multiple dentists before undergoing oral surgery that she says was unsuccessful because of severe infections.

Then came another frightening development: cysts growing on her eyelids, which one doctor suggested could indicate cancer!

WTF?!

After countless medical appointments and procedures, Jenny says she finally got some answers last December. And the warning she recalls receiving from a doctor was terrifying:

“I get on the phone with her and she says, ‘Jenny, you’ve got serious mold. You’ve got the type of mold that causes seizures. If this thing crosses the blood-brain barrier, I’m going to be talking to you in hospital. You’re going to start seizing. We’ve got to get on this immediately.’”

Jenny says she was diagnosed with mold and mycotoxin poisoning, which she believes originated in her Los Angeles home. By that point, she was frightened of practically everything around her:

“I thought everything was poisoning me at this point, because look at me, I was a freaking hot mess, okay?”

She’s since had her home treated for mold and has been pursuing an extensive treatment regimen involving medications, vitamins, daily infrared saunas, and therapeutic plasma exchange.

But even now, she’s afraid to sleep indoors:

“I’m still in my mold detox, you guys. I’m still in it, like, I’m knee-deep in it. I’m in month seven of detox and I’m too paranoid to honestly live anywhere else other than a tent.”

Jeez!!!

Jenny also admitted she’s struggling with PTSD and lingering fears about her health, describing a sensation that the walls are closing in.

What a frightening two years.

We hope she finds some relief soon!
