You don’t necessarily need a giant desktop tower to get serious computing power on your desk. The ASUS NUC 14 Pro AI Mini PC packs an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, integrated Intel Arc graphics, and dedicated AI processing hardware into a compact computer designed for work, everyday computing, and AI applications.
Right now, Amazon has it for $1,000, down from $1,699. That’s a $699 discount, or about 41% off, for anyone looking to upgrade their setup without giving up half their desk.
What Makes This Mini PC Worth a Look?
An affordable option for AI processing without the massive desktop. The NUC 14 Pro AI is built around Intel’s Core Ultra Series 2 platform, with up to 48 NPU TOPS and up to 67 GPU TOPS advertised in the product specifications. The listing also advertises up to 115 AI TOPS overall. That hardware can help support compatible AI applications, making this an option for people exploring AI-assisted workflows alongside their regular computing tasks.
This isn’t just an accessory for your existing PC, it’s a proper Windows computer in a compact package. This Mini-PC runs Windows 11 Home and features an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, integrated Intel Arc graphics, and 32GB of listed memory. Use it for everyday productivity, business applications, multitasking, and compatible AI tools without dedicating space to a traditional tower.
Built with security and hands-free features in mind, this ASUS includes a built-in microphone and speaker with smart amplifier support for voice commands and AI application activation. The PC also features a Trusted Platform Module, Secure Boot, and fingerprint recognition through Windows Hello for added sign-in security.
A Smart Upgrade for a Smaller Workspace
A mini PC can be a good fit for a home office, a compact workstation, or a desk where a full-size desktop would feel like overkill. It’s also worth considering for anyone who wants to experiment with AI-enabled software on a dedicated Windows machine.
One thing to keep in mind: the system uses integrated graphics rather than a dedicated graphics card, so buyers seeking a high-end gaming rig or demanding GPU-heavy workstation should compare those requirements before purchasing.
ASUS advertises a three-year warranty for this model, adding some peace of mind to a purchase at this price.
