The verdict in the Caleb Flynn murder trial is in.
A jury has found the American Idol alum GUILTY of aggravated murder in the shooting death of his 37-year-old wife Ashley Flynn
As we’ve been covering, the gospel singer was accused of murder after authorities uncovered he was having an affair.
In the most recent viral update prior to the verdict, two AI-generated songs Caleb wrote for his mistress were played in the courtroom. The reactions of those listening to them went viral.

There were two songs, and the lyrics seemed to reference Caleb and Alleigha’s age gap, anniversary, and more. Watch the first one in full here:

Ashley Flynn was killed in February 2026 in her Tipp City home during what, at first, appeared to be a home invasion.

Law enforcement initially believed someone broke into the Flynn family home and shot Ashley to death, but ultimately they steered their suspicions toward Caleb. He was arrested and charged with one count of murder, two counts of felonious assault, and two counts of tampering with evidence.
Prior to the murder trial, Caleb auditioned for American Idol in 2013 during Season 12. He told the cameras:
“I absolutely love the Lord. I love my wife more than anything. She is very, very pretty. … I love her. But, you know, I’m just a normal person who absolutely loves to sing more than anything in the world.”
He has maintained his innocence.
