James Bond fans are looking back at the franchise’s biggest movies as the search for the next 007 continues.
The iconic British secret agent, created by author Ian Fleming, made his official big-screen debut in 1962’s Dr. No, starring Sean Connery in the lead role.
Since then, six actors have portrayed Bond across 25 official films, including Roger Moore, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig, who concluded his time as the character in 2021’s No Time to Die.
Now, attention is turning toward the next chapter of the franchise.
Amazon MGM Studios is searching for the next actor to take on the role, with final screen tests reportedly taking place around this time. Callum Turner and Jack Lowden are among the names linked to the casting process, although the studio has not announced its next James Bond.
Denis Villeneuve is attached to direct the upcoming film, which is being written by Steven Knight.
